As a Registered Nurse with over 35 years of experience, I have practiced in various roles, including traditional bedside nursing, postpartum care, home health care, school nursing, and college health. The most rewarding aspect of these roles has been connecting with each individual as a whole. I believe true wellness comes from viewing a person as the sum of many parts, not just the condition or concern that brought them to seek care. In 2023, I pursued further education and became a board-certified nurse coach.
As a nurse coach, I am passionate about empowering individuals to achieve their best health and well-being. In my private practice, I identified a significant gap in support and education surrounding menopause, a transformative yet often overlooked stage in a woman’s life. Recognizing this unmet need, I took action.
To address the challenges of menopause, I developed comprehensive seminars, including a three-part series called Menopause Moment. These seminars provide education on the physical and emotional aspects of menopause while fostering a supportive community among participants.
Understanding the importance of workplace wellness, I successfully marketed these seminars to employers, helping organizations create supportive environments for their employees. Through these initiatives, I facilitated meaningful conversations and connections, enabling coworkers to share experiences and strategies.
My work reflects my commitment to holistic health and my belief in the power of educati and community to transform lives. I continue to advocate for greater awareness and resources for menopause, ensuring no one navigates this journey alone.
Lindsey Novosel , Woodside Oils
I reside in Highland, PA, with my husband of 26 years and our family, which includes four children.
Currently, I have been with doTERRA International for four years, initially contracted for the Birch Project before being hired as the Woodside Operations Manager. My current focus includes perfecting the birch essential oil extraction process and manufacturing Eastern red cedar wood oil. Additional native species are planned for testing in 2025.
I hold a double major in Chemistry and Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh and obtained teaching certifications in both subjects from St. Bonaventure University.
My professional background includes 11 years of high school teaching experience and serving as an adjunct professor for two years at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, where I taught Nursing Biochemistry. My manufacturing expertise includes 17 years as Plant Manager at Borden Chemical and a brief tenure in process engineering at Domtar. I am highly experienced in Quality Systems, ISO 9000, and SAP platforms.
I live on a small farm in Highland and greatly appreciate the area’s natural beauty. I enjoy spending time with my family, attending various sporting events, and reading.
